Columbus! Something New 3.6.16

C!SN 3.6.16: Arnold Sports Festival, Trainer James and the Warehouse Gym, Robert Mason Heritage Office Supply Company, and Weiland’s Market.

Story:

This was the weekend of the Arnold Sports Festival. Burke and I parked at the Ohio Expo Center and briefly went into the Rhodes Center where the power lifters were competing. This part of the festival is our favorite, but after warming up a bit, we took the free shuttle downtown to the Greater Columbus Convention Center to see the vendors and much more! There was quite a crowd and competitions at the convention center by the time we arrived. Burke took a walk to the newly completed parking garage to the north of the convention center and took some great photos inside the garage (check out the art) and off the roof of the garage. Back to the Rhodes Center we went, using the free shuttles, and settled in to watch the bench press competition. It was a great day at the Arnold Sports Festival!

Keeping with the fitness theme, we share with you our interview with Trainer James of The Warehouse Gym. James can assist you with your health, fitness and strength goals. This is a man with a great story, determination, dedication, and drive! We are glad to know Trainer James, wish him continued success, and are glad to re-connect you with him. Special thanks to Courtney for reaching out to us and being a big part in the connection!

A few blocks north of the Greater Columbus Convention Center is the newly opened Robert Mason Heritage Office Supply Company! Look at the art on the side of the brick walls in the images above. That is what you will see along Brickel St as you walk to Robert Mason. And then there is the sign above the door. Cannot miss that! Once inside, we found a huge selection of pens and stationary, leather goods and watches, candles and beard care, and much more! We spoke with founder and CEO Robert Grimmett, and he showed Burke some beautiful wood earphones he could use while we record the podcast. Robert has an amazing story, and we hope to bring it to you soon! But in the meantime, head over to Robert Mason Heritage Office Supply Company!

Later this month, Burke and I will join in the fun at Weiland's Market for their Cheese Tasting 101 class. Check out Weiland's Market for a variety of classes, and feel good about supporting this local, independent, family operated market! Weiland's Market has been going strong since 1961!

C!SN is always happy to feature the music of Captain Kidd!
